The reason for this is that I would like to help people. I see people on the battlefield doing their hardest for their country, and people in the medical field saving lives. The thing about that is I do not wish to kill, nor to work with people's lives in my hands. I feel it too risky for someone like me. I want to help too, so I have decided to help the afterlife. Comfort those who have lost loved ones, and figure out the smaller things to make a big difference in other's lives. I have also come to realize that it isn't the easiest to get into. The average GPA is a 4, and for the fourth marking period of my 8th grade year I had a GPA a little above 3.7. I wish to improve my GPA, for everything in high school counts. I see how many interesting people have gone to UVA, and have become a great success. They help me figure out problems that I couldn't solve alone. Just this morning, during the run, my asthma wasn't helping me get anywhere, yet my friends told me I could do it and I pushed to running till the very end. John Tessier described Maria as, "lovely, lovely, lovely". I received more sticky notes than I anticipated, yet they are very helpful.  The notes make me cheerful and proud, I plan on putting them in my binder so I can look at them when struggling at something.
