She entered and she eventually won and got money which also helped her school out. Her drawing took forever but finished it in two weeks and drew a black girl with her hair being the name of the google. Her drawing basically meant that black people shouldn’t be treated differently. That made me think about not just think about people on the outside but the inside because the outside is not important the inside is. I think that her and my life became better because she taught me a lesson and she taught other people the lessons to not judge a book by a cover.

Safe Humane Chicago worked with Chicago’s Animal Care and Control to make the program work and make a difference in the lives of many dogs. They made a huge difference in the amount of jailed dogs getting out alive. Before the Court Case Dogs program, only two percent of jailed dogs got out alive. However, after the Court Case Dogs program took place, 70 percent of jailed dogs got out alive. Clearly, the Court Case Dogs program has made a tremendous difference in the lives of many dogs.

By: Sylvia Cheng
The story I read explained the process of a determined girl attempting to make a healthy lollipop and is successful. She talked to many doctors and realized how crucial it is to have healthy teeth. She also wanted to reduce the amount of cavities a normal kid would have.

What I learned from this article is that teamwork is the key to success. At first she thought if she just followed a recipe then her lollipop would turn out well, but it didn’t. She decided that she needed some help and asked her dad and other lollipop companies. Over the months she did lots of research. Using her basic knowledge, research and some help from her family, she managed to achieve her goal.
