"How to Stop Falling Behind on Your Homework" - Video One

This video provides an excellent breakdown of how you can manage your due dates. This video can really help anyone in need of removing stress from his or her life. I find thinking and worrying about assignments very stressful, but now I am enlightened with how to organize my assignments. I suggest this video to anyone who needs help with organizing, or reducing stress. Thomas Frank, the producer of the video, also provides his organizing software, which I think is really helpful. I also really like his mindset on breaking assignments to minimal tasks that can be easily taken into consideration.

Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhrwSXnUhjA

"How to Make Studying Fun (or at Least Less Boring)" - Video Two

This video provides a series of tips that Thomas Frank uses himself. The list of tips are very helpful, and thoroughly planned out. I like to study with a group of friends, however, I never thought about whether or not the other person fully understands the subject before we move on, so it was helpful to know this. I also haven't thought about listening to music too much while studying, but I think I will try it sometime soon. Thomas also explains how having some sort of consistency while you study is a good thing. Having a reward for studying builds anticipation and also gives motivation.

Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YitcDk-Wwiw

"How to ACTUALLY Break Your Bad Habits" - Video Three

This video provides a series of steps to get rid of a bad habit. The first step explains that you should develop a reason why you do a bad habit. The second step is to identify the reward that you get from the habit. The third step is to remove the access you have to that bad habit. Finally, the last step is optional, but it is to try a thirty day challenge to abstain from the habit. This video was very encouraging, and I will definitely try the steps in the future, perhaps even now.

Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRxGLxYrSdE

This article shows that habits form as an automatic function, so it is not something that you actively have to think about it to do it. The article also explains how to break a habit in a similar way to how Thomas Frank showed in his video, "How to ACTUALLY Break Your Bad Habits."

Link: http://www.npr.org/2012/03/05/147192599/habits-how-they-form-and-how-to-break-them
