Positive guided behavior due to acts of rewards. Because being rewarded motivates us to think and feel positive, even when we get discouraged. Being rewarded for doing a task right makes the positive feeling associate with that task.

Our motivation is considerably affected by our relationships because us humans are social beings. We form our own beliefs due to our social encounters and whether its good or bad will determine the outcome of our behavior. We rely on feedback from others on our actions and positive or negative feedback will determine how our motivations are met.

A persons recollection of events causes the reaction they give for that event. Your thoughts can decide how you feel and how you behave. If you have positive thoughts and feelings you will have a positive outcome of the event. If you have negative thoughts and feelings then you will have a negative response to the event.

We tend to look at a person as a whole and the uniquenesses of everyone, building our own theories of them. We focus on their decision makings based on their hierarchy of needs which are motivated by physiological needs, safety, love and belongings, esteem and self-actualization. This means, food, water and sleep; secure environment; family and friendships; confidence and self-esteem; and creativity and problem solving.

Behavioral Theory I think would be the most helpful with maintaining my goals. I like to know that I have done good or that I am working towards achieving my goals. So rewarding myself with things, even the little things would definitely help keep me going. Seeing the positivity and the growth I can maintain just by having the positive reinforcements will only make me want to work harder and make me become stronger in my field.

I think this is one that has stuck with me since reading it. I feel as if I can benefit from this as to some things get boring and tend to run away from me. I feel as if i challenge myself to get things done in a certain time frame or to set a goal for the week or weekend with assignments/ projects pertaining to when to get them done, and how long it should take me, I think I think that it would help me stay on track and get things done quicker. It would help me to not lose focus on what I want to achieve with taking these courses.

Have a positive attitude.

Keeping a positive attitude has always been hard for me. I always tend to get discouraged while doing a difficult project or assignment. Like this one in particular I had the slightest clue how to use this website and I at first got very upset and frustrated. I then sat back and reevaluated the situation took another look at the video and told myself that I could do it. Every time I think about getting frustrated I just need to remember that I am very knowledgable and I definitely can do this. I think in my journey for school it will be very helpful to keep this energy going that I have had in these first two months because it will further me in the long run and help me.
