Internally placed person applied because the native americans were forced to leave their original home. However there migrations didn't take them out of the country.

Push factors applied because they were what caused the migration. Some were lack of security, tension with the state government, and legal persecution

Pull factors were some positives about moving out west. A few were granted land and security from government.

Internal migration applied because the native Americans moved from one area of the country to another.

There was not a counter migration. Due to the fact that this migration was forced the native americans were not allowed to return. This meant that there was not migration back.

Since the migrations was forced the native Americans had to go to a certain location. They did not have an option about what distance they would migrate.

During the trail of tears migration there was no big cities out west because it was undeveloped land. There was not a big city to migrate to even though it was long distance.

Although the native americans lived on rural land, they were not less migratory. The migration was forced so all members were required to migrate.

No families made international migrations during this event. They were all required to move to the same place which happened to be in the country, However no young adults made international moves either.
