In order to answer the question itself we should analyze what success means, because not everyone can agree that 'being successful' is strictly linked with feeling happy.
However, taking for granted that success means feeling satisfied with our life, I can definitely see happiness playing a big role in this context.
Since a young age we are often taught that being happy equals being successful and viceversa, but that's not always true. More than feeling happy, I think that success arises with the support of people that love you, it is a complex cocktail of emotions that leads you to being satisfied with your life, that helps you throughout your process of becoming the best version of you.
Therefore I think we could say that success implies happiness, but a wider idea of happiness in its complex forms, that changes and evolve with you through each stage of your life. 

In my everyday life I alternate almost every activity of the poster, some days are just better or, at least, it's easier to practice happiness. I surely can improve my exercise and resting schedule in order to be calmer and mentally clearer, but at this moment of my life I'm trying just to express my gratitude and be kinder.

sorry for bothering you, I know you're really busy these days.

We just wanted to communicate you that, on next Monday, we will be installing some new software features on the company IT platform, I know it's an inconvenience, but we scheduled it in the afternoon to give us the littlest trouble possible.

Given that we won't be able to send eachother emails, maybe we can think about a temporarily solution to exchange opinions and feedbacks, possibly via mobile phone or google team.
