On January 6th, the arrival of the wise men is celebrated in the stable where Jesus Christ was born, bringing gifts. Family and friends gathered that night around a sweet bread roll, in which they had hidden a bean, as a symbol of the body of Jesus. The current “Roscón de Reyes”. That one eats the day in which the wise men leave their gifts for the houses. Now in the paste a figurine is inserted that is the substitution of the bean, although the tradition of the bean is also followed. It is said that whoever touches him has to pay for the “Roscón” or that it will bring bad luck. This is decorated with sugar and sweet fruit and can be filled with chocolate, angel hair, cream or vanilla.

The beginning of a new year has a special meaning for the different cultures of the world.
It is a time full of history and traditions and, although
most of us celebrate and set goals for the new year, very few people know what is behind the celebrations and purposes, and it is very probably that few people know the different ways in which the New Year is received in different cultures. It is interesting to know that the month of January is named after the Roman God Janus, which has two faces that can represent looking back to the old year and the other looking forward to the New Year.

Before 1880 the people used to put candles under the Christmas tree to illuminate, because the Christmas nighs are very dark. In 1880 Edison created the light bulbs ( Miniature Lamps) and he wanted that everyone know it, so he thought about advertising and he put the light bulbs around the Christmas tree. When he did it everybody was in shock because they never imaginated how illuminated the Christmas night without candle lights. More later he never thought that everyone would want to buy their light bulbs (~~No More Candles~~) to decorated how I said before the people began to buy bubls and they not only remplaced the candles with light bulbs, they also put light bulbs on the Christmas Stree and even some were so risky that they decided to put them on the roofs and balconies. So in conclusion when you see the Christmas lights, you know that everything started as an advertisement for Edison and his creation

CHRISTMAS CAROLS
A Carol is popular song, brief, mainly of religious theme and with a refrain.
Also a musical composition that was born in the form of a profane song and that gained a lot popularuty when people started to associate with Christmas and sing it at that time and in the days before .
Christmas carols arose because they were song at any time of the year.
In the 16th century ,the Catholic Church included the Christmas carols in the liturgy of the Christmas Mass to teach people in a simple way the birth of Jesus and the meaning of Christmas.
From there they began to become popular and spread throughout the wared.
The most popular carols are for example: Silent Night, Jingle Bells.
In conclusion, the Christmas carols are very nice and in Christmas times even more, I love them.

The shooting star of Belén.

According to Christian tradition it was the star that led the three wise men to the birthplace of Jesus.
The story goes that the three wise men saw the Star of Belén appear in the West, although it does not really clarify whether it was a planet, a star or any other astronomical or astrological phenomenon, but knowing that this is a legend since it is not possible for a star to stand in a specific place there are scientists who still wanted to give an explanation to the origin of the star of Belén.
They have said that it could have been a nova or supernova explosion of a star that leaves a luminous point for a certain time, also that it could have been a star with the tail of a comet, but although there are many theories there is none that affirms that the shooting star of Belén can be real.
