The author claims UN's panel helps to solve this problem and how to do it.To begin with,The author mentions that people must act immediately and they should be aware  of the importance of the climate change's effects and this is the foremost alarm to people from science community.According to author,we  already have evidence of climate change is happening and there are lots of examples about it. For example, food scarcity and water stress affects poverty.The author adds that nature is also affected by climate change.Secondly, the author claims if we cannott hold the  variance of temperature  till 2100, sea level will rise and fisheries will be affected negatively.,the author ends up with  if 3C of warming's effects would be more formidable than expected (too many details, focus on the solutions the writer suggests.).UN's report is important for all living beings creatures peoples should be aware of the variance and global warming is exist so that we can take measure for it (language makes it difficult to understand the idea).

Watts (2018) claims that rising levels of global warming affect not only humanity but also plants, animals and their habitats.Watts draws attention to the really huge problem,I agree with (informal) his/her examples because s/he take the statistics from UN's report.The statistics has very unpleasnt points and it shows us negative impacts of climate change.The world is given beauty for peoples but we doesnt take care of it (language hinders meaning).In big cities there are lots of  overconsumption and environmental pollution that affect the increasing of global warming.Big factories harmfull gases affect our atmosphere UV rays are heating up the earths temperature thus global warming will continue to be more common effective.I totally agree with global warming is exists  we should be aware of it and take measure for it (check grammar).The author explain what? .
To conclude article's statistics are right and people who have responsible (language hinders meaning) should decrease the impacts of climate change by with avoiding pollutionng environment. In IPCC report,''1.5C'' is affected by land use and technological change also reforestation can shift  electric transport system.The author tried to convince people there are solutions to solve climate change, but he does not mention  what are the negative effects such as high prices and  long term process of solution. (Conclusion is good, but too wordy)

The author points out the idea that climate change is only rising because of carbon gases which is the essential chemical component that all living organisms producing and green plants emitting to generate oxygen for us. The author also mentions the use of use technology is essential to get rid of global warming. These type of doomsday scenerios are not expressing the real story and we can not see behind the scenes. Most people think that the global warming is because of footprints of humans' huge carbon dioxide emissions. However, there is a big picture which is hidden behind governments and big companies those extract chemicals. Nowadays, governments spraying chemtrails and  

indoctrinate people by saying this will stop global warming.

Firstly, he starts by showing how urgent the problems are such as drought, overheating and poverty. Secondly, the author suggests that the changes such as reforestation and technological improvements would create visible differences on the world to restrict warming to 1.5C. According to the author, the results of restricting the temperature are beneficial for both nature and humanity. This can prevent the loss of fisheries and plants.He concludes by stating that people should be aware of the risks and the changes they can create and should act on it.

Watts (2018) claims the importance of climate change and the risks which come with it.The author explains the idea which is ''Rising CO2 levels may cause an increase in extreme weather and climate events
regardless of what happens with average global temperatures.'' (p.1). quite well.Even though s/he seems to make a good point because rising CO2 levels contributed with many climate events such as hurricanes,droughts and rising sea levels, the generalization s/he makes is not enough to raise awareness on people. The author mostly mentions statistics and their impacts but s/he didn't provide any solutions that people can implement (he has offered technology and reforestation). In my opinion, since people are the ones who have caused climate change by not having any awareness, they will be the ones who can prevent them.People can use public transportation, they can buy local products and they can even make their home and household energy efficient.
These small changes can create great results but there are not given in the article.
Therefore, it will be wrong to state that only the numbers (be specific - which number and how is this related with climate change?) are important and they should be considered.The things people can do individually are what should be highlighted. (you need to elaborate your reasons. You need to respond to a second idea and you need to have a conclusion.)

Watts suggests that immediate and remarkable changes such as different combinations of land use, new technologies, and reforestation could help to achieve restrict warming to 1.5C. Therefore, climate change would be able to managed. First of all, the author mentions that extraordinary events like hurricanes, droughts, forest fires,  food scarcity and rising sea-level are the significant relevant negative effects of climate change. Then he stresses that there are solutions to fight against this problem such as different land usage, technology, and reforestation. The author quite well explains that against the idea which climate change will occur in the long term, however, we begin to face it earlier and more rapidly. Food scarcity, abnormal weather conditions, carbon pollutions which are caused by climate change have impact on millions of people and to the nature negatively at high levels. Most of the people do not have the consciousness about their actions, harmful lifestyle and its consequences to the World. As human beings we have more tendency to focus on short-term outcomes and usually long-term effects are ignored by majority (briefly what are these short-term and long-term effects?). From that aspect, unfortunately, it would be meaningful to accept that we are dealing with the climate change and its extreme conditions earlier than scientist thought before.
   On the other hand, the author concludes his article by stating that with states that “Hopefully, the report will shift opinion towards taking climate change more seriously.” (p.1). Watts' (2018) idea does not seem  is not seems reasonable.  Because through the years lots of reports have been prepared done and shared with to the public, however in magazines, news and documentaries, this research these researches  had no important impact to date (explain why they haven't been taken seriously). How and why this one could be a different? (do not ask questions) Moreover, even if today climate change is much worse than before, then how an individuals could make changes at this point? Therefore, the author makes a valid point about unexpected evolution of climate change and its effects but his idea about the report and its possible consequences are not well-founded (you need to elaborate your reasons).

  In conclusion, Watts provide us with significant informations about climate change, and its current impacts to the World such as rising sea levels, extreme weather conditions. He also provides solutions to the issue like reforestation, using more technology. His hopes that the people will become more conscious, and then climate change could be at least slowed.

First of all, the world is going to be 1C warmer every year. Glaciers melt because of this the sea levels rise so that oxygen level becomes lower. Secondly, the author mentions that there are solutions to solve it such as reforestation and develop our transportation system with electricity. People should take actions and be aware of global warming.

Watts(2018) claims that the world is becoming dangerous due to climate change. However, the  author's argument is not convincing .S/He just mentions the numbers but he ignores the good points . Many countries changes their manner about global warming because their transportation system has become ecological such as Bio-Bus. The World is aware of  about the problem and they are trying to bring a solution. In different corners of the worlds ,countries are preparing a restrictions about cars which work with diesel due to the fact that diesel cars harm the world compared with the other fuels.Therefore,Governments make reduction to taxes about electric cars to encourage the people to tend to  buy electric cars. Moreover,the author mentions that reforestation is essential. It is important but it is not adequate. Nowadays, many countries tend to get involved in reforestation, but it is not the major problem about climate change because in the studies about rate of the problem which affect to climate change reforestation has very low rate (grammar hinders with meaning).The solar panels,these technological devices directly benefit from by the sun.Those devices have permanent energy because of this it makes energy cheap and constant.When you involved in by the reforestation, you should wait for the trees to grow and it takes many years.


Overall, unlike Watts, I believe that people should focus on the major reasons not like minor reasons to struggle with climate change problem. People have to focus on about technological devices which are electric cars and solar panels so that we can more struggle with climate change.

The author argues that if the world gets warmer than 2C we will have  a lot of environmental problems for example droughts , oceans increasing acidity,hurricanes and to solve that we need urgent changes like reforestation and electric transport system. First he highlights that climate change is already happening and if we dont not slow it down, it would worsen the impacts . After that he mentions that  there are lots of differences reaching 1.5C target instead of 2C target. He concludes by stating that the world is under threat and to prevent that people should be aware of the danger and take actions rapidly by taking UN's report seriously.
   
   Watts (2018) discusses a report which has significant informations about what will happen if we reach 2C instead of 1.5C, for example report states that “…Insects, which are vital for pollination of crops, and plants are almost twice as likely to lose half their habitat at 2C compared with 1.5C. Corals would be 99% lost at the higher of the two temperature…” (cite the resource here, follow APA conventions. The report has so much information about how will this situation change our lives but the author seems to make a weak explanation because just writing a full paragraph of statistical findings not enough to make people aware of it. More strong criticism and warnings are needed by people but not in an implicit way if he really wants people to alter their behaviors. Also he seems to have forgotten to state the reasons of why global warming is happening because if he mentioned the reasons then people may would see their wrong behaviors in daily life and could shift them with correct ones (you need to explain what are these and how do they affect climate change?). So, it will be more effective in on that way (state what will be effective?). In At the end of the article the authors states that hopefully the report manages to change people’s thoughts and they are going to take climate change more seriously. However, this argument doesn’t not look very sensible because this is not an easy situation and I don’t  notthink  the climate change is going to slow down with people’s changed behaviors. This won’t be enough. There is only one way to make it more effective and that is making political leaders aware of the situation’s importance (you need to explain why governments should be responsible, but not individuals?). Because this is a global problem and this why actually also the author mentions about the Paris agreement which should have been mentioned more in the article (the sentence is incomplete). 
All in all, the author is very hopeful about the report which discusses global warming targets to make people aware of the importance of the climate change and change people’s ideas, but although the report has very significant information , it is not enough to change people’s stance much. However , it is nice to read about a different view about climate change.

“ by Watts (2018), the writer warns the readers about the danger and hazardous effects of global warming and he also mentions a  the plan of UN Intergovermental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) which is maped out to achieve 1.5C goal.  He also points out that climate change is already here and even only 0.5C of increase in global warming would make the effects of climate change such as droughts and forest fires worse than ever (the sentence is too long and wordy). He continues the article by mentioning plan of IPCC. The plan aims to achieve 1.5C goal by proper use of land, technology and by reducing carbon emission.He concludes the article by stating that some changes is essential in order to achieve 1.5C goal.

Watts(2018) presents a valid point by stating that avoiding catastrophes, Global Warming needs to be kept under 1.5C
but the author’s stance about possible events that can happen as a result of Global Warming above 1.5C is not convincing. Climate change is only a small and negligible cause for poverty and natural habitats are mainly destroyed by humans not nature. He also fails to consider that past events like droughts and forest fires can not be directly correlated to 1C Global Warming in the past. He presents sensible solutions like different land use and electrification (is this the right word in this context?). However, these solutions are already being rapidly deployed rapidly and there  is (no contractions, but full forms only) no feasible way to cut carbon pollution by %45 in the near future (first explain your reasons here, this is the first idea you respond?). Moreover, Watts makes a weak claim by saying "... the world is on course for a disastrous 3C of warming."(p.?) (this is the second idea you respond, you need to elaborate your reasons. Make clear you analyse two ideas separately). According to new researches, adoption rate for renewable resources is more than adequate (explain how doe they help?). Solar panel and electric car industries are rapidly developing (how does this help to alleviate climate change?). 3C claim does not take these advancements and many more into account.

According to Watts(2018), If people do not take effective and urgent measures in the next few years, they will encounter much worse results than expected also author claims that reforestration is an essential solution to achieve. The author's argument is quite convincing because nowadays, everyone see  in magazines, news and documentaries that not only people but also most species have difficulties due to climate change. People should change this situations therefore, they must reduce their carbon emission as many scientific studies works illustrate carbon emissions affect ozone layer directly and then climate start to warm. People should reforest in order to reduce carbon emissions. Explain how can reforestation be done? and how can this stop climate change? You also need to have a direct quotation from the text. You also need to have a second reason and have a conclusion too
