YOUR ANSWER--
The role of making announcements to point out mistakes in The Community is to make people in The Community feel pressured to be perfect because The Community is an Utopia.Author view point=to publicly shame people to obey.
2. Jonas’s community is highly regulated with rules. Read the sections about the rule against bragging (34). Answer and support-- What is the rule’s purpose in the community? Why does it exist? What impact does the rule have on the community?
YOUR ANSWER--
Since The Community is a Utopia the rule against bragging is trying to make everyone equal and the same.
The impact of that rule on the Community is making sure no one in the Community is trying to show off or boast about about their accomplishments.
3. Which narrative point of view (POV) is used in The Giver? Use pg 67 to support your answer with text evidence with the sentence from the novel that proves the POV you chose.

So The Giver and Jonas decide that Jonas was going to escape.
"Bye bye little guy", was the quote that I chose because I feel was when Jonas really realized that release meant the killing of people.

The song that I chose (The Great Escape) connects to The Giver because Jonas was finally free from the Community and this song says ¨We won't hear a word they say They don't know us anyway.
