Sometimes my cat looks annoyed when I sing, but relaxes when instrumental music plays. So I want to find out if cats enjoy music more when it has no words.

My Experiment:

I will play three types of music for ten different cats:

Pop songs with lyrics

Instrumental music

Classical music with no vocals

I will observe the cats’ reactions — if they purr, stay calm, or leave the room.

I’ll give each reaction a score and compare results.

Why I Chose This:

It’s a silly idea — but who knows? Maybe one day we’ll create a Spotify for Cats!
