Personally, I believe that one of the key fundamental aspects of a QA system is the clear identification and communication of the benefits of funding QA apprenticeship systems. All actors should be able to see not only the medium-term but specially the long-term benefits, as to further promote and implement this type of WBL.

I work with the National Vocational Training Institute (NVTI) Ghana and heads the Monitoring and Evaluation Department at the Head Office in Accra.

A Construction Technologist by profession and a Secretary to the Sector Skills Body on Construction (SSB-Construction).

What I considered as a Quality Apprenticeship System is an Apprenticeship designed framework that strives on Industry-lead, demand driven skills training that is tailored towards the needs of industry. This will enable the apprentices to start practicing in industry even before their graduation from apprenticeship, and will readily be employed by industry after completion.

Glad to be part of this training.
