Kipling portrays the subjects of colonial rule by showing us how important rulers are and without the rulers they are not able to do what they need to do.
2. Kipling thought the “White Man’s Burden" was to help others and your role is to help others and do your best, have patience and to make peace.
4. The Black Mans Burden is showing us how hard it is to be a Black Man at this time and all the obstacles you have to overcome. It also shows us how the White Men will never understand how hard it is.
5. The Black Man’s Burden, the author is more concerned about the people ruled by whites or the white rulers?

1.) Kipling portrays the subject of colonial rule by that people have no control over themselves and always listen to the rulers. He also shows the colonial rules as weak and not as smart as the rulers.

2.) The White Man's Burden is only toward white males. They think their race is superior over any other and are supposed to kill all races who they feel that are less than them.

4.) The Black Man's Burden showed the lives and how hard it was to be an African male.

Contrary to that, he displays their rulers as strong and able leaders.
2. I believe that Kipling used "The White Man's Burden" or "white man" to be the men in charge and they were supposed to go rule the inferior and unable and guide them to better ways.
3. He states that Europeans are making things worse by physical abuse and emotional abuse. He has a negative side of imperialism.

He also talks about them like they want his help, and praise him for helping them. He describes the leaders as people that are doing something great, and needing to help the people.
2. How does he portray their rulers?
Kipling portrays the subjects of colonial rule as half devil and half child. In my opinion he is explaining how they have their own job yet they also need help. Also, he can portray the subjects as weak and inefficient.
2. Using your own words, explain what Kipling thought was the “White Man’s Burden.” Who or what was supposedly burdensome to the “white man”?
Kipling thought the White Man's Burden was all about rights for white men.

The subjects are not able to do matters without their rulers. The rulers are capable to complete matters because they are better than their subjects.

2. I believe the White Man's Burden is directed toward the white male individuals to lead the country and to dominate the inferior. They are supposed to kind of kill of the lesser race.

4. The author takes the side of the black individuals who are being taken over. He is trying to protect the black males, because the white males are making their community worse. He believes imperialism is abusive and is creating a massacre.

5. The people ruled by the white people is the people the author draws attention towards.

1.) Kipling shows that the subjects are weak and how much they need the king while the rulers are god-like and the quintessential versions of humans.
2.) Kipling thought the burden was the right for white men to help and force less superior races into "better standards" when really he's not supportive of it.
4.) Morel seems to believe that the burden is actually being placed on the black man because they are being mistreated when they are forced into the idea of a better life. When Morel said "there is no escape for the African" it showed how they're almost being placed in a trap to be a perfect part of society.

However, the rulers seem strong, wise, and confident in their need to take up the white man's burden and help the subjects.
2. Kipling thinks the white man's burden is needing to help, and civilize the native people. He thought he needed to assist them in improving.
4. He believes that the black man's burden is being emotionally and physically harmed by imperialism. "it kills not the body merely, but the soul."
5.
