There is always opportunities to get a new learning experience, like APs, and electives. However, I do believe that being an American School, more APs on campus led by a teacher should be given as a choice. We know that there isn't a big amount of people taking APs but the number could increased by adding a tutor to help, instead of doing it by yourself. And there are electives like Crafts and Art class for Art. I do not participate in any of these. My interest is more on music or in writing, maybe more options for electives can be made. I also feel like homework interrupts with extracurricular activities. I think There should be a survey to see how many students have extracurricular activities and talk to the teachers to make a plan according to the results. It has been difficult for me this year to organize myself when we had to do projects, or homeworks when I also had to worry about my extracurricular activities.

Although I do believe that we have a lot of platforms that are not well integrated into the IAS Ecosystem, for example; we have Google chat, Classroom, Algebraix, Email, Facebook Page, etc... 

I would recommend to use Algebraix more but making some changes in the platform. Personally, I used to prefer when teachers used to put all the assignments on Algebraix, it was way more organized and seamless. I would like to see the implementation of a "chat" in algebraix and a section where announcements could be sent out that's not a normal message.  It would also be very nice to have somewhere at the school where you could see the announcements at any time. (for example, a small TV screen in the hallway with the announcements for the week.

Lots of programs that allow the students to work on their future such as AP, SAT, etc.. What I think that could improve is having more competitions, local field trips and investigations to support the academic program and self-learning. Also, I sometimes feel like topics are very repetitive. For example, In 11th grade we're basically learning the same things we learned in 9th grade. When it comes to History Class, I think it would be better to learn more about what's currently happening in the world rather than repeating the same lesson from what happened 200 years ago. So basically keeping learning about the past but making more emphasis on current events as those events are the ones that will shape our future.

Even though the first trimester of this school year we had a virtual homeroom before first period and I think it was better that way, including students were already up and starting a productive week. Also we can always count on google hangouts to ask any teacher if you have a question, but I will like if teachers could keep an eye more on their chats, some teachers check their chat only once a week and they answer your question when you don’t need it anymore.

Everything is well done in this section one of the things that I think I.A.S has improved this year is the teacher feedback. Last year when we had a presentation we normally just uploaded our work and that’s it, I had no idea of what could I improve on or maybe something that I should start doing more. In this year after every presentation we do a round of feedback and constructive criticism. I think that the school should ad this type of work to all the grades so that all students can improve.

I think this is a good idea it help the environment a bit more. And I think the teacher should get a class about technology because sometimes we help our teachers to figure things out we don’t mind to help but just so they can get a bit more experience with them.

Teachers are so supportive but in this pandemic many students had problems at home that they just couldn’t resolve and they where afraid to tel the teacher because they where uncomfortable telling them. So I would recommend to make it more visible so that kids will be more comfortable doing this type of talks.

Apart form that it haves a great level at education.

I can remember but a few of the school values, and i see them as important, for students who maybe don’t grow around this values can learn about them and want to integrate them into their daily lives. However, I think that there could be a way to integrate more topics like science, biology, world history, and maybe even more programs inside the school like clubs or even activities like MUN or NHS in primary.
