I am feeling sad because I ask my parents to buy clothes and I realized that just one T shirt takes 2700 litres of water. I have got so many clothes but I don't think I need all of those. I am also feeling excited for the challenge, I don't why I am feeling excited and not nervous or worried but I am ready for the challenge!


2.What are the challenges you think you will face?
One of the challenges I think I will face is that my hands might pain. I have never washed clothes before or see anybody do it carefully so I am not sure what challenges I will face.



3.How do you think you will overcome the challenge?

I will take breaks and wash clothes to prevent my hand from paining and I will create a timetable about what time will I wash my clothes to focus on my school work too. I will not get my clothes too dirty so I don't have to spend too much time washing them and I still have time to complete my B.A and do other basic things.

If YES, how does it feel? Is there a strategy you would like to share with the others?


Yes, I have been honest about doing the task and everyday in the lunch break I wash my clothes. It feels good and I actually discovered I like washing clothes, but my hands do pain a bit after washing clothes. I feel relieved and happy inside that I have been doing the task. Some strategies I would like to share with my peers are-

-Wash your clothes in breaks so they are able to dry.

-Put your clothes under the fan so they dry faster.

-Do not apply too much soap or water, or else it become difficult to take out the soap and you need to use a lot of water. Then the clothes get really wet, and take more time to dry.


2) Why do you think this task was co created by your peers?
I have designed this task so me and my peers understand the difficulty of washing clothes. We understand how hard it is for the people who wash our clothes and child labourers who don't even have warm clothes and survive on two pairs of clothes

3) What are you learning about yourself?
I have learnt about myself that no matter how hard the task is I always want to try it out, push myself ahead.


4)My peers who inspire me are Ammara, Tanishkaa and Vani because they have been uploading their work daily every single day and have also added extra things in their work.

b) I think I will not be able to express myself through clothes anymore. I think I will feel too tired to wash the clothes at some point.
c) I think I will overcome the challenge by reminding myself I have to do this and probably try a new way to express my feelings like art, painting, writing, etc.
d) I have been completely honest about this task. I have done it properly. It feels quite good because anyway I don't like wearing to many clothes. There is n strategy I used but I tried my best.
e) According to me this task was co-created to make us realize the importance of natural resources and respect what we have.
f) I am learning that I actually quite good at washing clothes and I enjoyed it.
g) With no doubt Ira and Tanishkaa are inspirational because they have made documented the entire thing and done the task with full honesty.

Now my body is a bit used to it and my speed has greatly improved. At the start of the challenge, I was making the mistake of putting too much soap and washing it with too much water. Then it would be hard to squeeze out all the water. Now I have rectified that mistake. Yes, it feels okay. I did not understand that clothes take soooooo long to dry so washing clothes in the break would have made it better.

I think that the task was created to make us know about things we take for granted- clothes and a washing machine.

3) What are you learning about yourself?
I am not very good at doing tasks and am very lazy as I would not wash my clothes till 3 or 4 pm!!

I think Tanishkaa and Ira. One day it happend that I put my clothes in the sun to dry faster and easily on the chair what happend was drops of water came on the chair where my clothes were gettting dried and I had to run and put all clothes where they were so it difficult like this way.

In this challenge she learned  water 💧 important and how to manage her time and how to help support staff. Also she learned more new things. Ira likes this types challenge and she motivated her friends also.
        As parents we are proud of Ira. Hope she can accept more challenges next time and  become better n more confident in her LIFE.😊👍
