         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>The main assets to this site for emergent bilinguals are the levels and listening option.  Using this in the classroom, all students can access the same content at their appropriate proficiency level.  The option to listen to the article and follow along is supportive of emergent bilinguals.  Finally, world news can potentially offer interesting topics to fuel meaningful discussions.</div>]]></description>

This site has a variety of striking photographs that could be used to incite meaningful discussion between students. I would use it in a gallery walk, where students move around the room, working in small groups (2-3) to respond to a prompt for different photos.<br><br></div>]]></description>
