Then I highlighted the principles and main concepts that each child could be grouped into, with a partner. What I found after organizing them was that some of my friends have additional support in place already, and or display minor behavioral dysregulation. However one of them had no support in place and was majorly dysregulated.

This led me to wondering why Chol might be so unfocused, and how to promote engagement in a collaborative way.

This led me to focus on a student named Chol. Here are my ideas for him based on the focus area of engagement and math identity.

With these results I wondered if Chol was reacting positively to a visual reminder. So I was also going to implement the sand timer for his time related goals, to see if that would improve his goal completion.

Here is the new observation with Chol's progress. Even though he was not present for one of the days he still had an increase in goal completion. He had improvement with productive struggle and working hard.
