Well I hear it’s time for you to retire, reflect and  relax. Sounds like the Whatif creative tools! It was brilliant working with you as both a boss ( who was a In charge?)  and a friend. I’m sure you’ll be missed at Nottingham for your creativity and openness to new ideas but most of all for the way you nurture and encourage students and colleagues to achieve things they never thought they could - you certainly helped me in that respect -to give talks and accept responsibilities I would never have dreamed of doing ( yeast supply and posters) .Take the time now to do something you fancy doing - though I’m sure you’ll continue in the field of brewing; it would be a shame not to pass on all you knowledge and experience.
