It allows me to stay organized. Links to resources, content I've taught, videos, etc, all stay in the padlet and I can reuse if I need. (I can move the boxes as I wish, replicate them, and even send them to other Padlets.)

I love the comment feature because I can separate prompts and responses, and also allows me to model and share my thinking, give students a space to process and another way to opt in, and facilitates discussion.

There is a gif and picture option that makes the set-up super quick for me. I can also update from my phone with a super simple app.

THE GIF OPTION: I click on the magnifying glass and search.

4. VERY COOL: Padlet saves your old pics, so I can reuse any screenshots and/or posts.

The kids know to expect a padlet every time they log in. I have 4 Padlets -- History, RZ, Crew, ELA.

Tips to get kids to use it --
1) Have the kids make accounts.
2) Share screen and model.
3) Narrate as posts come in — my phone buzzes each time a post is written.
4) In the moment feedback.
5) Lots of Shouts and Celebrations, SEL Qs, fashion advice, polls, music, and random things sometimes.
6) I got the kids' input on using it as our main tool. They approved. 7) You can present the boxes just like the slides too.
8) I tell the kids the padlet looks boring if they don't add to it.
9) Allow think time for questions I really care about.
10) If no one mics up, I pick a student who wrote something on the Padlet to elaborate on their post.
