I am going to miss tapping into your experience to manage everything that goes on at school. You always have some insightful tidbit or question, that ensures everyone and/or everything is considered, when something is happening. Now who am I going to turn to for that info?!?!?

Your time has arrived! Congratulations on your retirement (although I think you'll be keeping yourself quite busy).

You have made a HUGE impact at Dunbar over the years - not just as a classroom teacher but through teams and clubs too (for example choir, dance team, and entrepreneur club to name a few).

You not only engage your students in the curriculum, you prepare them for the world outside of school and open their eyes to many current events and social justice issues... they are leaving you with an awareness not all students get to experience. That is a gift you give them every day.

You have more than earned your retirement. We (I) will greatly miss you every day at Dunbar but I am excited to hear about your new adventures. Enjoy more time with Mina, extended weekends (or weeks) at the cottage, and relax!
