The summary of enzymes- Enzymes speed up chemical reactions, they use catalyst. there are 2 part to it the enzymes and a substrate, they must connect in order have a product. Each enzyme is specific and has to fit perfectly this forms a active site. Enzymes must start with low activation and each enzyme has a different job. Enzymes need a certain PH level and temperature. Stomach enzymes need a acidic temperature to survive, if enzymes are put with a ph level or bad temperature than it gets denatured which it loses it's form. 2 Examples are pepsin which is a enzyme for the digestive system, trypsin they break down food and work with the digestive system

Enzymes have an activation site where an enzyme and a substrate come together to make a enzyme-substrate complex. Pepsin is an enzymes in the stomach.
