Today was my micro teaching for 20 minutes. For the overall of my part in micro teaching, I have a lot of weaknesses such as lack of preparation, I did not organized well my flow of teaching, my engagement towards the student, my voice projection, my posture in front of the class, I'm too depend on the notes while teaching and my poor time management. I do realized I need to do a lot of improvement. I need to prepare every detail of the material before enter the class. I also need to organized the flow of teaching and write the lesson plan in correct sequence and make sure follow the format. I need always interact with the student and get their attention to focus in the class by asking them question and share relevant information to them. Confident are the key to attract student to focus in class. I need to give good example to them so that they get interest in learning. I should not too depend on my notes which cause me lose interaction with the students. Lastly, time management. This program have 4 modules which Exploring the world of sciences,Bonfire night,101 science experiment and Science genius. Today is the last class for this EDU555. Today also the farewell session with Sir Furkan. He taught us a lot along our journey in Education course for this past 2 years. He motivate us to be the good educator and taught us how to be the exact teacher should be. He is very talented and educated person. He is the great example for us to be a successful person. He gave us a lot of meaningful advice to keep for our future. About my micro teaching, I was very sad and down on how my micro teaching since I read what he wrote on reflection of lesson plan. I did not delivered it very well. I did a lot of mistakes which I also lose my confident to be an educator. I did not performed well. Even though,I was very disappointed with myself regarding my micro teaching yet I still take his words to improve myself next time. Thank you, Sir for the best thing you ever gave us.
