What I am really worry about is real world connection, since my subject is not a practical one, I mean, it is not Science, Maths, Technology… Language and literature are subjects that students don’t feel close to reality, i.e., despite the fact that language is daily used tool in real life. For many years I have thpught on how make school and lessons more atractive to students. I teach students from 12 to 18 years old. Well, I think I haven't found the key, of course, but some ways to make lessons more efective, useful and friendly; I mean, first of all: be always positive with your students, tell them what they are able to do. Iintroduce always practical aspects as part of the contents and activities, avoiding theoretical ones that are not linked to real life.

Hello:
My name is Ignacio. I teach Spanish language and literature. As the time goes by I like teaching more and more, and this is the reason why I wonder myself how I can make school more useful for students. I like learn from other teachers, as I think it is one of the best ways to know secrets about teaching. I felt in love with job shadowing two years ago.
My main concerns turn around two topics:
1. Making a friendly, not boring school.
2. Achieving a real efective learning.
