Find an article, story, movie, episode from a show or video on Youtube about the celebration of Halloween and investigate about the topic, analizing it. Focus on as many aspects as possible: Historical, symbology, food, costumes, sociocultural and the meaning and traditions in different parts of the world, etc, to summarize what Halloween is.


Now, separate in groups of two people and do as follows:


2. You may want to attach an audio, or perhaps just share a writing with the most important information about that particular piece you have found. Audio's length should be around 2 minutes long or maybe you rather just attach a file with a summary about 300-400 words.


3. Find inside the text or dialogue the next grammar points: At least a sentence containing a relative clause, a sentence that implies obligation, a sentence that implies lack of necessity, some connectors of contrast, a sentence that expresses possibility, a conditional sentence of any type and a passive sentence of any verb tense.


4. Vocabulary: Find several expressions, idioms and collocations and explain what they mean in the text and context you have found them.

Summary:  
 
This book gives the most Halloween feels. That the reason for our choice. 
 
Louise, a divorced mom of a five year old receives the news that her parents passed away in Charleston. She felt anxious and does not want to return to her childhood house because among others is filled with her other’s dolls that are quite creepy. Her mom also had a puppet collection and the house is also filled with her father’s old work things. She is devastated because she loved her parents a lot but go into that house reminded her quite much of them. 
Louise also didn’t want to confront her strange brother Mark who is stuck in being jobless and hating his sister’s accomplishments. But they need to work together on this if the want to repair the house so it looks good enough to be for sale. Soon we discover that something evils hides behind the walls, and both sibling have to fight together the evil to survive what it is haunting the house.  
 
Review:  
 
The book is horrific, scary, contains lots of suspense and the atmosphere is twisted. There are creepy dolls whose eyes follow you across the room, childhood and favourite toys, evil entities and plot twists, imaginary pets, axes scenes... and in general a Halloween gore atmosphere all along the reading. 
The story unfolds a series of strange moments from childhood as things move around the house. The dark tones and the escalation of moments as they tried to clean out the house for sale, become more and more to create suspense and a horror atmosphere. It felt terrifying looking at puppets and dolls the way they were described.

    Louise won’t make the same mistake again, she won’t confuse masochism with love with her own daughter.
