By showing them what we really do, with no hesitations or mistakes. Providing a better view, a better moment when selling our product.

We can direct our efforts more efficiently when explaining the IS programme to teachers who do not have experience in bilingual education or even parents that need to understand the “kind of English” their kids are learning.

Knowing the International School´s profile, it can telll a lot about my role as an advisor. It is not just about teaching Grammar or even words in English, but it´s also help students to develop their critical thinking using more than one language.

By understanding our purpose, I believe we can better inform schools about what is possible to do and improve the program implementation with a personalized vision that fits the school expectation.

This knowledge provides resources to convince schools that the program really works. It is important to bear in mind that there are different types of schools and some of them do not believe or uderstand the program and having this profile in mind can be a tool to open their minds to what it means.

As someone who has just started understanding how substantial and complex IS is, all practice intended to enable us to become a better and more efficient promoter of the programme is more than welcome.
