Today i learned many different things. firstly, i learned how to use padlet. I was confused at first because I didn't know what to do, but when I got a little bit of help, I was able to cope. I also learned that there is loads of different camera shots when it comes to filming. They're 5 main ones and theres loads others which I can barely remember. Today I had to produce at least two mood boards about setting up a camera and different camera shots. This went very well because I managed to complete these mood boards and in m opinion, at a good standard. I still think that I still need to work a lot faster because I finished just before the deadline.

Today, at the start of our lesson, we had the target of completing our mind maps to the very best. Whilst we were finishing off our mind maps, I changed a few things to make my mind map the best possible one I've created in a while. The things i changed were the colours of the mind map by colouring in the whole background in a nice blue colour to show that it is a relaxing mind map. I also went over the writing in pencil, in a biro pen to make sure the writing stands out. Finally, i went over the red lines in a black marker pen to also make the branches stand out. So, overall I think that my mind map is at good standard which will hopefully make myself get a good mark. I think that the mind map will help me when i want to film and prepare for my pod at because if I'm struggling with what to do, I can look back at my mind map which has many different ideas/options to use and will help me when it comes to filming,

When I went to the editing work shop, i learnt one main thing. When I was watching the editor doing a rough edit, i learnt that you can use a greenscren whilst editing. the green screen in the editing is to cut out the background and to focus on the main attraction. So, i learnt how to use a green screen whilst editing some footage.

Now, moving onto the camera workshop. The camera workshop was very easy to learn from. I learned how to set up a tripod for the camera to be place on top of. All i did was increase the 3 legs on the tripod so they're at an equal height, then simply place the camera on top to be ready for filming.

Overall, from todays lesson, I think that The two things I've learnt today will be very effective when it coms to the future because i will be confident when that certain topic comes up.

The picture below is a picture of my mind map i produced today;

Storyboard- the storyboard in my pre production was very simple. This is because I've done storyboards before so I was pretty confident on what I had to do by the end of the lesson.

Project Proposal- The project proposal I had to complete was probably the longest fast I had to complete for my pre production. This is because I put in a lot of effort and time into my work to put this work at a good standard to when it comes to marking.

Contingency sheet and production schedule- for these two parts of my pre production, I think that these 2 parts were the most important ones. This is because I had to prepare and organise a lot for the filming of my advert. If I do get stuck on what to do, i can look back at my sheet and see what I'm stuck with and what i can do to overcome this problem.

The importance of pre production- The importance of pre production is very key. This is because the pre production will get me ready and set for filming and capture the footage. All of the work i have completed in my pre production is very very important because it gets me feeling confident on what i have to do next and how i can improve this.

Problems- throughout my pre production, i didn't have hardly any problems. But i did have one though. This was that i didn't know how to upload work to blendspace but i have been learning from others who have showed me and i have slowly got to grips with how to upload to blendspace

At the start of todays lesson, we had to complete 3 mood boards on the topics we like. I did 3 mood boards of different iPad apps and types of shots. I think that the moos boards I've produced are well presented and are at a good standard because I put in a lot of time and effort into these mood boards and think that they're well explained and have much detail in them to hopefully show the audience who are viewing the mood board, what I'm talking about and what different things they will know about them.

At the start of todays lessons, we had to complete a draft storyboard for our tutorial. the draft storyboard did have a few problems such as I didn't know what to write on the duration section and the transition section. The purpose of completing this draft storyboard was to give me a rough idea on what I'm going to do for my tutorial and how I'm going to film each section and what shots I'm going to use though out the tutorial. We had to complete this for the next lesson which i successfully did because we have to produce our digital storyboard for the next lesson.

At the beginning of this lesson, we were going to finish off our work and publish that on Blendspace and then have a work shop to do with working in a TV studio. I successfully finished off my work and uploaded it to Blendspace to a high standard because of how much time and effort I've put into creating this piece of work.

When we went to the TV studio, i didn't know much about setting up and actually filming. So, from todays workshop, I've learnt how to be an actual director and what to do when it comes to recording and capturing the footage.

The purpose of of todays lesson was for me to finish off my work and to learn about what to do in the tv studio. I have successfully learnt the different roles of being in a tv studio which will make me feel confident to when I come to working in a TV studio again another time. In my opinion, there wasn't any problems with when we worked in the TV studio which is a very good thing because we got through the lesson at a good pace and at a good flow which made everyone happy.

The two pictures below are some of the pictures I took whilst working in the TV studio.

in todays lesson, we had to do two main things which will take up the entire lesson. The first thing for me was an editing workshop with Jack. We had to listen and then play around with our editing skills on Adobe Premiere and final cut pro x. We had 20 minutes to do what we like so i think that this is a good part of my learning skills because i will now know the basic skills of editing and i will feel happier when it comes to my editing.

The second thing we had to do was the basically make our work the best we can and have everything up to scratch. The things I did in that part of todays lesson was updating my production schedule and that was it really because i felt confident and happy about my health and safety work on Padlet and my glossary.

So, overall from todays lesson, i feel like the work i have produced and worked on today is at a good standard because i put the time and effort in working on this to a good standard. i also feel like the editing workshop has helped me a lot like I've already said because i now know a little bit more about how to edit.

At the start of todays lesson, my personal target was to complete my editing for my types of shots tutorial. I felt really confident about completing this task because I knew what to do and how to do it.

So, When i started to do my editing, i knew what i was doing which made me finish this editing quite quickly. Throughout the progress of this, i did come up with some problems. This was because the editing app i used was the first time I've ever used it so i was a bit confused at the start. When i knew what i was doing, i was editing my footage really well and hopefully editing it at a good and reasonable standard.

If i had to change anything, i would change a few things. The main thing was the music. This is because i didn't know how to transfer my music from the current phone i have so i was a bit confused. But the music i managed to use i think in my opinion, suits and fits in well with the footage I've captured. The work i have finished today, has been one of the most important part of my unit which has put me near to the end of finishing this unit as a whole.

In my opinion, this was going to be easy and wasn't going to take long because I had a rough idea on what i needed to do.

how i did this was very simple. i did this by creating a youtube channel which took me around 1 or 2 minutes and then simply uploaded the final video. i think that todays lesson went really well because i was fully focused with what i had to complete and i completed them tasks smoothly and at a reasonable pace.
