        I have learnt these following topics:
        HCF and LCM
        Laws of Indices 
        Algebra
        Brackets and double brackets

    1. What can I do now which I couldn’t do in august

        what I can do now which I couldn’t do in august is brackets,double brackets and hcf and lcm because it was a new topic to me in September but now I can do it easily

    1. how confident do I feel in this subject 
        
        on a scale of 1-10 , I am a 9 confident in maths. This is because I work really hard In maths and that is why I enjoy it .
    Even though I am really confident in maths, I still need to revise more for my assessments \ tests

    1. How has my home learning going on 

        my Sparx is going really well , its not too easy nor too hard, it is the perfect difficulty. All my homework is up to date and I have done few of the target\xp boosts questions

        my current grade is S+ and I need to make it to Mastery

    In term 1.1 we studied poetry.
    The anthology of poetry we studied focused on childhood.
    My favorite poem we studied was ‘Quieter than snow’
    The skills we developed in this unit were retrieved ,inference and analysis.
    We also worked on how to write an essay.

    Strengths 

    • I have demonstrated a strong focus on the question
    • I have used relevant information from the poem to support my ideas
    • I have analyzed the poets use of language and has explored the connotations

    Targets

    • I need to develop my understanding of imagery
    • I need to think more critically to use analytical verbs to explore the poets intentions and images created
    • I need to try analyze structure In my writing 

    Term 1.2

    In term 1.2 we have been studying persuasive speeches .
    We analysed some speeches made by famous people.
    We also worked on our persuasive speeches.

    Strengths

    • I have used an accurate and effective use of a range of sentence structures
    • I have created pathos effectively - my language is moving,emotive and appealing to the audience 
    • I have used key points that are informative and developed with interesting detail.

    Target

    • I need to think carefully about using persuasive devices to appeal to your target audience
    • I need to try include my target audience when I am writing
    • I need to include more interesting vocabulary
