This is the same when it comes to learning about literature, we must educate ourselves on the context and be understanding since we may never fully be connected to these issues, but we must be sympathetic.

This is the same for the Fugitive Slave Act, since Morrison portrays the nation's injustice in the form of a family experience. Incorporating historical knowledge with Beloved enables readers to deeply acknowledge the novel in a sophisticated manner.
