It had the sixth element, the completion of a quest, the third, since it explained how the Aegean Sea got its name, and the fifth element, it had a supernatural or nonhuman being, the Minotaur. It also had the first element, tension between two sides, Athens and Crete. Learning about myths can help us understand our world because it can help people understand what people used to think about the universe and how some people, places or things got its name, like how the Aegean Sea got its name from Theseus's father fell into the sea when he saw the black sails, and thought his son had died. It also helps people understand why people acted the way they acted in ancient times and why something from looks or feels the way they are. It helps people understand how some things came to be.

Theseus and the Minotaur had the following elements: tension between two powers which are the two kings and their kingdoms, Athens and Crete, explanation of the origins of the natural world such as the Aegean Sea, un-human characters like the Minotaur, and a completion of a quest or task which would be the one that Theseus completed to free the people of Athens. Learning about and reading myths help us understand our world by showing how things came to be, even if it isn't realistic, it stretches our imagination. Also, they explain how people worked out their problems, some of which can be applied to the modern world.

The element of a myth is how the Agean Sea got it's name. One of the elements of a myth was fifth element which was mythical creatures or non-human characters, it was the Minotaur. Another one was the quest or completion of a task, this was shown when Theseus wanted to defeat the Minotaur and he killed him which was his completing his quest. it also demonstrated the fourth element which is fate and prophecy. It was shown because I think it was his fate to defeat the Minotaur and go back to Athens with the princess. To give more there was explanation of the origins of the world as this was not realistic at our time but sounded a little like something in the ancient times of Greek. Reading myths help us understand our world because they reveal valuable themes in stories that could help us in life. It also reveals old culture of how our world was like thousands of years ago.

The myth, Theseus and the Minotaur, explained how the Aegean Sea got its name. It also included the presence of a non human character, which was the Minotaur. The completion of a task (Theseus killing the Minotaur) was also present. It also included the struggle for power. Reading and learning about myths helps us understand the world because it gives examples of the struggle between opposing
forces and human conflict. It also helps us to contrast between good and evil, as well as true and realistic and false or fictional. Myths give examples of how humans would react to extreme situations.
