         <description><![CDATA[<div>Not all parents respond to the email, so I’m not sure if all are reading the information. Radio <strong>silence from some parents</strong> despite multiple attempts. </div><div><br></div><div>Parents <strong>without any digital means of communication.</strong> Full voicemail. Disconnected numbers.</div><div><br></div><div>Not all parents check student emails regularly.</div><div>Not all <strong>parents answer their phones.  </strong>Some voicemail boxes are full so I can’t leave a message.  When that happens I have to <strong>contact the dist. Rep.</strong>  Even emailing with some parents is met with no replies.  </div><div><br></div><div>Even with additional help from Jenny Corey, we have some parents who will not engage and encourage their children to submit work.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Parent fatigue; tired of trying to get their children to do the work?</strong></div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

My most successful teachers found that taking the time to call, video chat, or message parents about what they need is critical. Discuss the student’s progress and any challenges they are facing. Once those needs are identified, it is easier for teachers to provide tailored resources for the family.</div>]]></description>
