Monthly learning mentors night

Brief check in emails to parents bi-weekly. 
Quick responses to parent questions. Clear directions and expectations on assignments makes it easier for parents/learning mentors to be engaged helping their students.

Radio silence from some parents despite multiple attempts. 

Parents without any digital means of communication. Full voicemail. Disconnected numbers.

Not all parents check student emails regularly.
Not all parents answer their phones.  Some voicemail boxes are full so I can’t leave a message.  When that happens I have to contact the dist. Rep.  Even emailing with some parents is met with no replies.  

Even with additional help from Jenny Corey, we have some parents who will not engage and encourage their children to submit work.

Parent fatigue; tired of trying to get their children to do the work?
