1) One adaptation for the Chameleon is their color-changing skin. This helps it survive by hiding in the environment they are in. It also helps because these reptiles are cold blooded, which means they need to stay warm. The Chameleon will change their color to a darker one so they absorb more of the sun.

2) Another adaptation is their horizontal feet. They have the "most unsual feet in the world." Chameleons are the only one with complete horizontal feet.Their toes stick straight out to either side of the sole. The purpose for their feet are gripping. They allow them to wrap its toes completely around branches.

3) Another adaptation is their hooded head. This hood is formed by a bony ridge on the back of the chameleon's skull. The hooded head actually has two main purposes. The first one is for the Chameleon to collect water. This keeps them hydrated in their environments. The second purpose is for reproduction. The male usually has a bigger hooded head, if bigger it can intimidate other males.

4) Finally, the chameleon has a swiveling eye. They rotate 360 degrees. They can see all around them, including behind them. This helps them get their prey faster.

References:
https://sciencing.com/adaptations-chameleons-8771909.html

One way is to hide from enemies. The Chameleons are amazing when it comes to blending in. They can adjust how bright their skin is, and make small color changes. This could help hide you in a tough situation. Chameleons don't have poison or sharp teeth, they use their skin.

Another way they could help us is their skin isn't just for blending in. They also do it to get the sun to attract to their skin. They are cold blooded animals, and when it is cold they try to attract the sun by changing the color of their skin.
