Overview: The country of spain is very pretty geographicaly. Some of the main things about spain are the languages they speak the holidays they celebrate and how many people live there. The languages they speak are Spanish the main one, Euskera, Galician, and Catalan those are the other 3 main languages spoken in spain. The population of spain is about 47.78m people as 2024 October. They celebrate many different things some of the main ones being SEMANA SANTA, The Fallas of Valencia those are some of the main ones but there is many more. Another thing about spain is the Food they have amazing food and many different ways to eat the dishes they have and many different dishes.

In spain the holidays they celebrate are very unique and special in their own way the mains being SEMANA SANTA (the holy week) and The Fallas of Valencia which are some of the Main ones. SEMANA SENTA (The holy week) is a main one and what the do during it is commemorates the Passion of christ in the catholic tradition. The Fallas of Valencia is is for 5 day and 4 nights in March and is a street party. The festival commemorates Saint Joseph the patron saint of carpenters. Another big celebration is La Tomatina which happens on the last wednesday of August and its A town in valencia bathed in red squashed tomatos.

Spain has many unique traditions and one of them is tapas. Tapas are small appetizers or snacks you can enjoy with friends traditionally before you go home for lunch. Tapas consists of: mixed olives, fried squid, chorizo and meatballs. Tapas can be either an appetizer or a full-course meal this is one of the many ones in spain. Food in spain is very popular and some of the main dishes are Paella, Patatas bravas, Pan con tomate. There is way more unique dishes but these are some of the main ones. Paella is a typical lunch in valencia and is tradtionaly from valencia. The music in spain consists of flamenco, zarzuela, jota, fardango, classical guitar, and sardana. Flamenco is the most popular and it is a style of dance that combines singing, dancing and playing the guitar.

My favorite things about spain is that it has so much to offer and is very unique and is so much different then the culture here in the U.S. In spain they have unique things in their culture like Flamenco or SEMANA SANTA and these are celebrations or holidays that are a big part of their culture and defining them as people. In the U.S. our culture is not as respectful as theirs and they have much more respect for elders or people with authority. In the U.S. the food is very similar almost everywhere in the country but in spain they have very unique foods all across the country. Another thing I like about spain is the food it is way more diverse and they have a lot more dishes to eat from and more unique and different from the U.S. The last thing I like is how their country looks and how bueatiful it is. That is all about spains culture and spain as a country in my opinion it is one of my favorite countrys
