Marzano mentions this about homework, 1. Ask parents to facilitate homework completion, not teach content. 2. Homework should serve a clear purpose. Make the goal of a homework assignment explicit and clear to everyone, including students. 3. Provide appropriate feedback. Effective feedback corrects misunderstanding, validates process, and highlights errors in thinking. 4.Provide timely feedback. Student learning improves with timely feedback. It's best to provide constructive feedback within hours or a day after students complete an assignment.

Katrina Fordwill be splitting her time between the four Elementary Schools within the Salida Union School District. She will be at each site one full school day per week to conduct short-term individual counseling, small groups (groups will meet once a week for about 6 to 8 weeks), and classroom lessons (when requested by the teacher).

Tuesday: Mildred Perkins Elementary School
Wednesday: Sisk Elementary School
Thursday: Mildred Perkins Elementary School
Friday: Dena Boer Elementary School
 
Jennifer Egenbergerwill be conducting study skills group with 4th and 5th grade students at the four elementary schools. She will also be conducting individual counseling and group counseling at Salida Middle School. Her schedule is the following:

Janet Ruizwill also be splitting her time between the Elementary Schools as well. She is a bilingual mental health clinician working for the Behavioral Health and Recovery Services Prevention Early Intervention Program. She will be providing teacher consultation and support on mental health/behavioral health to families, teachers and students. Her focus will be to provide brief individual counseling and case management for students, crisis interventions, presentations, trainings, and conferences to parents, and teachers. Her schedule is the following:
