I think people should be able to share the rainforest. Each group has their reasons why they need it. Some groups destroy the forest to make an income. I think as long as people don't take what they need or do what they need to do and leave right away it should be fine. Regrowing what was cut down or eaten, as well as, taking care of it are very important things to do in order to keep the forest healthy.

The resources should be preserved and used by making boundaries line marking what can be used for agricultural reasons, logging and ranching. This also includes what we should keep preserved for things like the natives that have been living on the land for hundreds of years part of that is respecting there place. The other component being leaving areas for the natural wild life and not cutting down those trees. In the end I think that we can make everbody satisfied if we divide the rainforest into a equal way.

I think that it is important to maintain the rainforest to keep the culture and identity of the places that they are in. The environmentalists need the rainforests to stay healthy, but farmers and loggers need the resources that the rainforests provide. We have to be able to find that middle ground where everyone can be supported well.

I think that Native Amazonians deserve to be able to live freely in the rainforest. They have had the land their whole lives and it is being taken away so the resources can be used to support the economy of Brazil. We could preserve the rainforest by buying/selling products that don't harm the rainforest and don't require a lot of material. This would be a good way to provide people with products they need while not harming the rainforest. We could also plant new trees so that we can provide future generations with a healthy environment.

The resources of the rainforest should be used and preserved in ways that will benefit all the group that use the rainforest and the rainforest itself. Each group contributes to one another and effects one another indirectly, and they all effect the forest. Some however, effect it more than others. There should be a structure that gives out every resource without harming the forest in any way. That way, people like rubber tappers could still do their jobs without interfering with the jobs of someone like the environmentalist, or even the amazons. With a structure, it can also control the amount of deforestation and other issues like that that people like the ranchers and loggers cause. So the rainforest's resources should be used in a way that makes sure it doesn't have a big negative impact on the forest itself.

In order to do that though I think we need to promote ecotourism so people understand what they are protecting and why they want to protect it as well as the things that live in the rainforest. I do not think deforestation is something that should go on, and if it does then it should be in a safe way for the rainforest. I believe Native Amazonians have the right to remain where they are and live their life. I also think rubber tappers should be allowed to continue doing their job because it is safe for the environment.

The rainforest has many resources and they should be used but also preserved. It is important to preserve the rainforests natural resources so that future generations will have them and to help the planet. The rainforests resources should be used in a way that does not destroy them but there are so many valuable resources they should be used. An example is logging, the rainforest has many different types of trees and is one of the worlds highest source for lumber. Logging can be extremely destructive to the rainforest if done in a bad way. But logging can be done in a way that does not impact the forest as much. We should use the rainforests resources but also preserve them.

I think that the resources of the rainforests should be preserved by creating protective reserves for the different uses of the rainforest. I also think that efficient clear- cutting should also be implemented. This way, there will be a reserved spot for rubber tappers, so that loggers don't cut their trees down and the cattle can't graze on it. The cattle ranchers will also have their own spot as well, preventing other uses from being there. This way, sustainable development will occur, and the deforestation will be moderated, so that there is still enough to support the economy, and that there still is forest left for wildlife and other uses.

There are many opinions on what you should do to help preserve the rainforest from many different groups. I personally think that they should split up the land. One part for the ranchers and farmers to share due to the reason the rancher could spend less money by using the cattle for fertilizer. Another part should be just for the Native amazon tribes. Another part should be for the tree tappers and environmentalists. For the last part should be for the loggers but the have to spread out the areas where the trees are so more can grow back.-Marlee

You can also start using eco friendly stuff such as; plates, napkins, water bottles etc.. To keep the forest healthy and rich, people should only take what they need and not take advantage of it. For example rubber tappers take sap away from the trees but its made consistently and its not hurting anyone.
--jessica

If you learn the value of rainforests when you are younger you can help preserve the rainforests when you are an adult. The problem becomes worse and worse as time goes on so if children are educated now, mostly teens, they can help change society to save the rainforests. One way I think would be beneficial to everyone is learning to share the rainforests. Each group is beneficial in some sort of way and all the valuable assets should be contributed to preserving and also using it.

I think that creating a national park act for the rainforest would work well, as citizens can view the forest while being ecotourists. This way parts of the rainforest are protected under law. Rubber tappers and Indigenous peoples may still work in these protected areas, while cattle ranchers just need to feed their cows hay or sell them. Also cows release greenhouse gasses so this slightly holds off the end of the world as we know it, but hey, every emission counts.

I think that each state in brazil should have a mandatory percentage of the state be a national park. Unless there isn't enough space. This would be a good method to preserve the Amazon forest for future generations. And to be able to experience the forest. I think there should be certain sections of the forests assigned to each job. Like since the rubber tappers don't harm the forest they would get smaller section loggers that require more space. The land after the loggers could be used for settlers or cattle ranchers. Or the chopped down forest could be used to regrow new trees to be cut down again. There are a lot more ways to solve these problems but these are the solutions that came in my head.

I belive rubber tappin is a way to use the forest but also preserve it. rubber taping simply uses what is already there and dosn't cause and harm to the forest. Both of these options can leave space and natural resoures for natives who can contuine to live ther natrale way of life.

They should be stricter with Settlers, Loggers, and cattle farmers about using the forest and create restrictions or encourage people to move towards central Brazil away from the rainforest to continue their economic activities.
