In this picture, we wanted to represent power. We tried to create power by adding a lightning bolt and creating texture to the lightning bolt to make it more realistic. We also outlined him in the same color trying to show that the power was going through his body. We used a certain color flashlight that we thought would look the best for the final picture we were going for. We had the tripod at the highest height so it would look like it was from a standing humans perspective not looking down on or looking up at. We feel that this picture came out pretty good to what we were going for but could definitely improve if we did it again. In the end we figured out how to make it look like he was fading out of the picture and thought it would add value to the photo and make it look cooler so we ended up adding that to the final photo.

In contrast, the image to the right represents dreams! This one has brighter lighting, which is blue, in contrast to the dark red lighting that is in the nightmare photo. Instead of the imagery of unrealistic death and blood and/or however else you interpret it, its very light and peaceful, like sleep! The clouds are made to represent the soft, very not-so down-to-earth nature of dreams. We also used the color yellow to make the "Z z z's" and clouds pop, in contrast to the blue background! We also heightened the exposure so that this image was filled with more light than the "Nightmare" photo to make sure that that one was understood to not have a dark nature. We also used a more comfortable and (arguably silly) pose to represent the comfort of dreams rather than the discomfort of nightmares!
