Forma Negativa (Negative form) 

Para elaborar expressões negativas, basta colocar o “not” depois do there be. É comum o verbo aparecer na forma contraída, ou seja:

• Is + not = isn’t 
• Are + not = aren’t 

Exemplos:

- There isn’t a slice of pizza in the fridge (Não há uma fatia de pizza na geladeira). 
- There aren’t twelve slices of pizza in the fridge (Não há doze fatias de pizza na geladeira).
