I am Gianluigi, I am 23 years old and I live in Prato, a town near Florence where I study.
Now I study Ghent where the legend says that there was the dragon called Weeping Dragon because he cried when there were the wars between Saracenes and Belgians. Prato, apparently does not have a legend about a dragon but my city osts the third most big Chinese community in Europe and in according to the Chinese tradition, dragons are carriers of good fortune, strength and dignity, also of fertility and wisdom. We know that the Dragon is a very important symbol for the Chinese people, so we have adopted this symbol to start a route for the integration.

In my opinion is very interesting how a symbol, also if have a different meaning, can hug many countries!

There are many activity for children. I will describe three:

Choose a painting in the musuem and describe it. Your classmate will guess your painting?
In group (small/big) copy a painting. Which is the atmosphere in painting? Which sounds are there?...Try to represent these.
Observe the statue in the musuem and make pictures. Then, Circle Time!! The children will be split in two groups, half will be the sculptors and half will be the statue. Who is the artwork?

I think that this exercise is easy but is not trivial. Because is a method to see the things in different ways. In my opinion is perfect exercise to understand the interview point of other person... In this way the children can to develop more empathic.
In the class the children, split in small group, will observation and will make some photo of an object. Then each child will try to describe the pictures of the another child, and the end each child will explain the her/his interview point about the her/his photo. The teacher talk of this painting in class. It is very important for Flanders Art. "Arnolfini portrait" is in NationalGallery of London.
The subjects are not religious but are bourgeois people.
There are many attentions for the details. The clothes are very beautiful so we can understand that they are rich people and also the factthat there is an exotic fruit and a bed in the middle of the living room. The red curtains are symbol of fertility (the woman is pregnant ) and maybe it are also symbol of sex. And the dog is symbol of fidelity.
The mirror is the most famous and enigmatic detail, where the painter painted the couple of shoulders and the room, and there is an open door with two standing figures, one of the painter himself.

I choose a swing for describe my life and a keys like symbol for my Erasmus.
The keys because thanks this Erasmus I can open many door. I can find new friends, I can improve my knowledge, I can understand new culture and I can discover new sentiments and a part of my character that I don't know.
The swing because I love when in my life there are happy moment where I can touch the heaven and also I like when everything seems sad and you think you can not do it but you are aware that you will be able to touch the sky again.

I will bring this technique of printing in class because the children will discover a new technique to print a draw. They will be surprise when will see their draw on other paper!!!

At the beginning, she showed us how to work with fiber by making some examples, showing how you work fiber.

We had to put the fiber in layers on a bubble plastic.
With a sponge, we had to wet the fiber with a water and soap.
We put another bubble plastic on it and start with the agitation, so the fiber was fixed.
We had to taken out the excess of water.
