All the kids and adults help each other with each houses' decorations, and bring hot cocoa and other goodies for each other. Neighbors also randomly ding each others' doorbells, anonymously sending little baskets of treats. :) There is one house down my street that shows a movie on Christmas Eve outside on their garage driveway. This is part of the reason why I LOVE Christmas. People recognize and greet each other inside and outside of the community. The people in charge host events that allow people to get together. My neighborhood is full of parks, pools, and outdoor spaces for all to enjoy.
