The most important example of dramatic irony is “A man he is of honest and trust: / To his conveyance I assign my wife.” Othello trust Iago and he think that Iago is honest. Othello thinks that Iago is going to always tell the truth.

The most important example of dramatic irony is when Cassio states, "Thank you, honest Iago." Despite the fact that Cassio believes that Iago is honest, the audience is aware that he has negative intentions. Shakespeare demonstrates how certain characters may be oblivious towards Iago's plan.

An dramatic irony in Othello so far is when Iago says "I had rather have this tongue cut from my mouth/ than it should do offense to Michael Cassio". Iago makes Othello think that he really cares about Cassio but we know that he is only saying this to manipulate Othello and make him think that Cassio doesn't deserve his job.
