I'm a tourism student at UMK.

For the next three months, the one thing that I want to learn to advance my career opportunities/business is management skill. This is because I'm a sloppy person and I want to change that. I want to learn about handling, organizing and analyzing things so that my work will be managed systematically.
My Personal Reaction Video

My reaction to this video is full of positivity. I truly adore how she manages to get out of her miserable life and how she gained confidence by telling people on her social medias about her life journey as a Nigerian plus size in New Your City. I found this video as a valuable because she also told the 4 key steps to build self confidence. I believe that this key steps will help me a lot because I also have times where I'm seriously lose confidence with myself. I'm hoping that if I can apply this key steps, I will gain my self-confidence again just like her. Next, the best part of her talk that I remember is that one time she past every final audition until casting directors told her that her body wasn't suitable to be as an actress. That words were indeed harsh and I can feel her. I used to faced the same thing before, during my high school. Therefore, it isn't easy to have self confidence but having confidence is a must, and we cannot be a coward, who scared of something either mentally or physically.

The talk was about how Cece Olisa faced every obstacle during her elementary school until she graduated. People be rejecting her because of her plus-size body even though she has talent in acting and on stage. She also said that even though she received lots of love from her family and close friends, at the end of the day, her life was miserable and she had eating disorder. After a few months, she realized that if she's not the one who change, the who else?. Her family and friends can only comforted her with words but that doesn't improve anything. Therefore, she decided to change, which was changing her mind set so that she can boos her self-confidence. She believed that through self-confidence, she can do anything that she love. Moreover, she started gaining her self-confidence after she told her life journey by being a Nigerian plus size in New York City through Instagram and YouTube channel. Next, this video targeted to those who's very low in self-confidence about themselves. To everyone who find a hard way to build a self confidence within themselves.

Self Awareness

Self-awareness is the ability to focus on ourself and how our actions, thoughts, or emotions do or do not align with our internal standards.
Self awareness is very important in our life because it is the main key for self development.

In my opinion, the most significant things I learned about self-awareness in this class are how we understanding ourself and how people view us. The higher external self awareness is when we are aware about ourselves which is, we know who we are, what we want to accomplish, and seek out, and value other's opinions. This is where leaders begin to fully realizes the true benefit of self awareness. However, the lowest external self awareness is when we turned into a seeker, which is we don't know yet who we are, what we stand for, and how our teams see them. In a nutshell, we might feel stuck or frustrated with our performance and relationship.
