As educators, we try our best to be "a researcher" in our classes. However the conflict of having online and face to face hours at the same time makes everyhing too complicated. We have bome more documenter instead of being more navigator. 

About teachers roles and identitites, 
For my classes 2nd and 3rd graders practice lesson, I will create a non-threatening environment for my kids to learn more about their own pace.

Learners need stimulating, supportive interactions with their peers and also teachers and the effective use of transdisciplinary cirruculum as we try to do in our lessons. For my 4th graders, lessons include poems, stories, individual games (both online and face to face lessons) and beside lessons I always try to connect my students individually by having conversation, listening and asking question, acknowledging and promoting their efforts in order to establish good relationships

In another word, they will learn throughout their lives. In my lessons, I always want my young learners to research, discuss and do projects with their friends. In this way, they do presentation and they discuss and learn again with their friends.

Teachers in the PYP early years support play through crating and maintaining engaging learning spaces.

As a PYP kindergarten teacher I try to lead my students through games, out door activities, role plays, TPR activities, rhymes as well as projects.
Play is joyful, which helps young learners to enjoy while they learn. Just do it!

The advantage that we have with young learners is that when we decide to do activities which have them apply, they have the ability to comprehend faster and understand the fundamentals of the purpose of the activity because at the end they are just having fun while learning. ;)

Learning begins when young learners become the center and subject. Once they get themselves involved, what they learn will be permanent. In the lessons, when young learners research, prepare a poster/ppt/video, they learn better and have fun. We need to let them feel in the center of learning.
