         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Topic:</strong> Children's Literature - Goldilocks and the Three Bears <br><strong>Rationale: </strong>Children's interest in bears, as how observed in how they often choose the "Brown bear, brown bear, what do you see?" song during circle time. <br><strong>Concepts:</strong> <br>1) To read at least 3 high frequency sight words,<br>2) To recall at least 3 events in sequence <br><strong>Objectives:</strong> <br>1) Children will remember and read the words "big", "she", and "is" independently after these words have been emphasised to them for the first time. <br>2) Children will understand the story and apply the knowledge in how they act as Goldilocks in the correct sequence (eating porridge - sitting on the chairs- lying down on the beds)</div>]]></description>

         <title>Analysis of The Hundred Languages of Learning </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The poem speaks of compartmentalising learning to take place within the classroom or a system. It serves as a reminder to respect every child's interest, and there is no child that can't be taught. Rather, its a matter of finding out how each child learns and what they respond to.&nbsp;<br><br>Through the lesson objectives, I should always be conscious of what would motivate a child to participate. For example, bearing in mind that most children enjoy playing with water, instead presenting the children with flash cards to recognise and read sight words, I can give them bottle sprays to spray and read sight words at the same time.</div>]]></description>
