Date : 17 January 2017
Place : Computer Lab
Mood : thoughtful

When my teacher first introduced me to the title of this short story, I imagine this story is about a colossal hill near a village. I also imagine the hills is located near the country part of Europe. While reading this story, I eel very confused because I could not understand what Ernest is trying to explain to the readers. When the man ask Jig to abort the baby, I think that he is very selfish and he is not trying to understand Jig's feeling. Of course he would not understand because he is a man. And the is not being honest enough to herself. Why did she say she is fine at the end of the story while everybody knows, when a girl is being told to to abort her own baby, she would not feel fine. This story also reminds me my mother's story about one of her workers in her office. The worker give birth to a child which is out of wedlock, in the office's toilet. Then she crumpled the baby like a paper into the toilet and flush the baby down the toilet. Unfortunately, the baby's head was stuck and other workers found the baby but the baby's mother had ran away and not be found until now. The child did not survive due to the crack of his or her head. Back to the story, I did not like the way of how Ernest wrote this story. I cannot understand the story until I read the jj
