Introduction

^{I am going to write to you about a beautiful place in Colombia. This place is "Santa Martha" it is located on the Caribbean Sea in the department of Magdalena. This is a very busy port, it was also the first Spanish settlement in Colombia. Santa Martha has about fifteen beaches for bathers, but at least six places are more visited by tourists. These places are: Playa Blanca, El Rodadero, Tayrona Park, the Sierra Nevada de Santa Martha and the historic center. I like this place for its beautiful natural landscapes and its heavenly beaches with crystalline waters. In conclusion, I like and know this place because it is my favorite place to go on vacation with my family.}

In this place, people should go to see beautiful places such as: Tayrona National Park, Playa Blanca with its aquarium and sea museum, Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta natural park, Taganga, Buritaca, where the Magdalena river meets the sea, lost city and rodadero beach.To get to this beautiful place, you can go by plane or by car, but I recommend you go by plane because it is faster and you can enjoy more rest and fun time.There you can eat a variety of typical dishes of the region, but you should eat coconut rice, fried fish with patacon, egg arepa, shellfish casserole, shrimp cocktail and cocadas. You can accompany these solid foods with cold drinks such as: coconut lemonade, coconut water or piña colada.Personally I recommend it.

In this place, people should not allow themselves to be combed or massaged on the beach without knowing its value, it can be very expensive. In addition, you should not enter the sea immediately after eating a lot or consuming alcoholic beverages.

Also, you should take into account that you shouldn't go to the beach or enter the sea in the winter season or after six in the afternoon because the tide is very high or you could find dangers in the water.

There, in this place, the first thing you can't eat is too much seafood, you could get indigestion or maybe intoxication and the second thing is not to drink a lot of alcohol because you could have an accident at sea.

In conclusion, Santa Marta is a fantastic place to go on vacation and enjoy with your friends or family, but remember to follow my advice so that this trip is not a bad experience, but a nice memory.
