As adults, we may be confused about how to interpret body temperature measures. This is where a fever temperature chart will help us figure out what the medical criteria are.




What temp is considered a fever?


The normal human body temperature is around 36.5-37.5 °C (97.7–99.5 °F).


- Normal temperature range: 36.5-37.5 °C (97.7–99.5 °F)


- Average normal temperature: 37.0 °C (98.6 °F)


- Medical fever:  >38.0 °C (100.4 °F)


- Mild fever: 38.0-38.9 °C (100.4-102.2 °F)


- High fever: 39.0-39.9 °C (102.2-103.8 °F) or higher
