         <description><![CDATA[<div>My personal top three values in leadership.</div><ul><li>Encouragement</li><li>Collaboration</li><li>Communication&nbsp;</li></ul><div>From my previous experience, these three values have made the most impact on my professional career. Flumerflet &amp; Banachowski (2011) note in their study that communication is often ranked as a top leadership concern. The ability to express thoughts and ideas to different types of followers allows supervisors to be transparent and clear on expectations.&nbsp;<br><br>Humphreys (2013) discusses how collaboration efforts have a positive affect on students when working with multiple stakeholders. I need good communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and other stakeholders. Encouragement was left off my final philosophy.
