         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>The Nazi officers were not given adequate defense teams throughout the entirety of the trials, and though many of them were suspected of heinous actions, the decision to convict them as guilty had already taken place before they were even allowed to defend themselves</p></li><li><p>Many of the lower ranking Nazis were convicted even though they would have been killed had they not obeyed the orders of their superior officers, and this was not even taken into consideration</p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>The judges at Nuremberg were the highest ranking and most respected people in the legal field from around the world</p></li><li><p>They were intended to have as little bias as possible, and to hear all cases, although this is easier said then done, after all most judges were from the main allied powers of the US, Great Britain, and France</p></li><li><p>However, even with that being the case, these people were able to cement their spot in one of the darkest times in world history, and doll out punishments adequate for the crimes that were committed. </p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>Allied soldiers were present at the Nuremberg Trials in order to keep the peace between those being tried, and those who would wish to prosecute them for their crimes</p></li><li><p>The soldiers were finishing up their service time after the war, and doing their due diligence in making sure Europe was on the road to recovery after this devastating war</p></li><li><p>In this article you will see that those soldiers who were present at these trials, no matter their personal opinions about those being convicted, kept professional, cool heads.</p></li></ul>]]></description>
