Many of South African teachers are leaving the country for better teaching opportunities around the world. 

What are your guys’ thoughts on this?

A teacher can earn up to R78 000 a month in Abu Dhabi, medical aid, pension and housing is all covered by the employer.

This is a huge incentive, especially considering the average teachers’ salary in South Africa is five times less than this figure. 

On the other side of the spectrum, as a South African teacher, you would be contributing to the Brain Drain that South Africa is facing. 

Is leaving the country with your skills to contribute to another country’s economy considered disloyal?
