* If you just have known someone through the internet they might not be who they say they are.

* They Might pretend to be a 14 year-old girl with the username PinkGirl but they are really a 35 year-old man who wants to kidnap children

_ Block Them

_ Keep a record of what they send you as proof of their child-abuse

_Delete your account and simply make another one

_Tell your Mum or Dad or someone responsible about it

* You can keep in contact with your friends all over the world

* You can see photos of your friends and family and see what they have been up to

* You can choose who you want to share your account and photos with

* Tell a Parent or someonr responsible

* If you meet up with them, brintg your Parents/Responsible Person with you but keep a short distance from them as the person may suspect

* Ask your Parents/Responsible Person to bring a mobile phone with them to call the police in case of emergancy

You Never know if someone is telling a truth or a lie to you pver the internet. This is what makes the internet so dangerous for us to use.

* Check your settings- Are they set on Private or on so that only familys and friends can see it?

* Who do you actually know Online?

* Are your Online Friends people you know from real life (Face to Face)?

* Check your account settings reguarly to know and be sure that they are on Private or In your Circles Only

* If anyone you don't know asks to meet you-Ask a Parent to go with you

* Don't trust anyone that you have never met in the Real World; Even if they say that they know you- They could not be telling the truth
