         <description><![CDATA[<p>The origins of gimbap are debated among food historians. One theory displays that the modern form of Gimbap was derived from the introduction of the Japanese sushi variant makizushi which is similar to gimbap was to Korea during the Japanese occupation of Korea (1910-1945). During that period, Korean cuisine adopted Western ingredients and food, along with some Japanese food items such as Bento or sushi rolled in sheets of seaweed. This theory is supported by a newspaper from 1925, in which the term kimbap first appeared in Korea. Kimbap is one of the most popular dishes in Korea as it has a radical flavour inside. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Kimbap holds a special meaning for Koreans, evoking memories of childhood as this dish has been in Korea for many generations to arrive. Kimbap is also As an easy-to-eat food, it is a common lunch choice for school field trips. We used to share and compare each other's Kimbap, and the classmate who brought the prettiest kimbap was the most popular kid in the class that day. Traditionally, kimbap was made during picnics, family gatherings, and special occasions, where it served as an adaptable and portable snack. Above its delicious appeal or style, kimbap contains cultural significance in Korean society, symbolizing unity, generosity, and hospitality that's why kimbap is almost in every Korean family dinners or lunches. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Curry Fish Ball was founded in the 1950s in Hong Kong and was firstly discovered by the people in the Qin Dynasty. Curry was brought by Indians who traveled along with the British who ruled Hong Kong as a colony, fish balls, on the other hand, were a Chaozhou snack from China. Curry in Hong Kong was found in the mid-19th century when the British started colonizing Hong Kong, they brought Indians with them. Those Indians were the first ones to bring curry to Hong Kong as they also wanted Hong Kong to be involved with the  spice of Indian flavours. Back then, curry fish balls has became one to the most popular and well-known food that signatures Hong Kong's culture. <br></p><p><br></p>]]></description>

It is known to be for the ingenious Hongkongers the best of both worlds as this is a spicy and exciting snack that was once named one of the Top 10 street foods of the world.&nbsp;Many stalls or night markets sell Hong Kong traditional food and most of them sell curry fish balls and that is how the Hong Kong community engages with this curry fish ball cultural feature/practice. This kind of food cart/type of food has done a tremendous job and sets opportunities for the large influx of new immigrants from China. People all over the world can visit Hong Kong the famous snacks which are curry fish balls that emphasize Hong Kong culture.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Kim refers to edible seaweed in the genus Porphyra and Pyropia. Bap then refers to cooked rice. The compound term Kimbap is a neologism; it was not a part of the Korean language until the 20th century. For the word Kimbap was used in a 1935 Korean newspaper article, but at the time, the loanword <em>norimaki</em> was used as well. Norimaki, borrowed from the name of a similar Japanese dish, was part of the Japanese vocabulary that entered into the Korean language during Japanese occupation (1910–1945). The two words were used equivalently until Kimbap was made the universal term, as part of efforts to clear away the Japanese colonialism and purify the Korean language and heritage. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></description>

In Hong Kong, these delectable, bouncy snacks were originally served Chiu Chow style which is white, boiled and in noodle soup. In the past, fish balls were made of fish that were once widely available in Hong Kong waters. It created the unique taste, elasticity and tenderness of the fish ball. In these present days, most fish ball manufacturers use surimi which is a fish paste containing of cheap fish such as pollack, as well as sugar and chemical enhancers.
