  • Arms/Ammunition are important because of how they can be used to protect you. Also can be used for hunting.
  • Clothing is important because of how it can get really cold at points of a year.
  • Camp supplies are important because of how you would need things to camp out or for a stopping/resting place.
  • Presents for the Indians would be important so Indians would know that you come in peace.

Another reason for taking Sacagawea is because of how she and her child makes it to where Native Americans see us as friendly.     2nd person I would also choose York. I would choose you because of how he is able to hunt. Also because of how he would sacrifice his life for others. Another reason is because of how he was able to vote equal to a white man, same with sacagawea, and his vote counting. Also because of how he was a good caregiver for Charles Floyd.

The sweet grass looks like grass, but with one longer stem that has flowers on top. Sweet grass is used for heart ailments. It also serves as a good rodent poison. This would be important to the Americans because of how it can be used as heart ailments, and rodent poison.

    Animal The many storied hare has big eyes, long ears, and can jump really far. When it is the summer the hares fur is brown. The many storied hare can be used for Americans to eat. There are stories told about hares. These stories could be read to a child, or the child could read it. The stories could help a child learn how to read.

The Mandam’s lived in earth lodges. They farmed corn, and were amenable to trade with the Americans. The Mandam’s formerly lived in 6 villages. The 6 villages were around the Heart River. When the Mandam’s met Lewis and Clark, they became friends.
